There are so many interesting places to see along the coast of Victoria. Last November, I jumped in the car and drove west for 5 hours, past Warrnambool and Port Fairy, to Cape Bridgewater - a beautifully quaint town on the Discovery Coast in Victoria.
The landscape here is incredible. It changes every time you turn a corner; from ancient sand dunes to natural spring lakes, sea cliffs and limestone caves, there is so much to take in.
The Petrified Forest is an incredible place. A short walk along the clifftops leads to a desert-like moonscape, where you can see pillars of hollow limestone, ethereal and other-worldly - a truly unique place.
The colours and shapes of the landscape provided the inspiration for my newest yarn collection of earthy, natural tones - Coastal.
Hand-dyed on 8 ply Super-Springy Merino and a brand new 4 ply base, Bamboo Sock, this range has been designed so you can mix and match any of the colours! Soft, cloudy greys and sandy tones through to chocolate browns and steel blues.. perfect for colourwork or beautiful on their own.
These yarns will be available 8pm next Friday! Set your alarm!
From left to right: Cloud, Cliff, Rock, Sandstone, Dune. Which colours are your favourite?
