
There are so many interesting places to see along the coast of Victoria. Last November, I jumped in the car and drove west for 5 hours, past Warrnambool and Port Fairy, to Cape Bridgewater - a beautifully quaint town on the Discovery Coast in Victoria.
The landscape here is incredible. It changes every time you turn a corner; from ancient sand dunes to natural spring lakes, sea cliffs and limestone caves, there is so much to take in.
The Petrified Forest is an incredible place. A short walk along the clifftops leads to a desert-like moonscape, where you can see pillars of hollow limestone, ethereal and other-worldly - a truly unique place.
The colours and shapes of the landscape provided the inspiration for my newest yarn collection of earthy, natural tones - Coastal.
